The Volare Explorer 24 inch in grey with green accents is a sturdy and complete children's bike featuring Shimano Nexus 3 gears, a steel V-Brake hand brake at the front, and a coaster brake at the rear. A practical bike for daily rides to school, friends, or around the neighbourhood.
The 3 gears are integrated into the Shimano Nexus rear hub and are easily operated with the Shimano Nexus RevoShift twist shifter on the handlebars. As the gear system is largely concealed within the hub, it is well protected and user-friendly in maintenance. This allows your child to easily select an appropriate gear while cycling.
Safe braking can be done in two ways. At the front, the Explorer is equipped with a steel V-Brake hand brake, while at the rear, braking is done simply with the coaster brake. For good visibility, the bike has lighting (StVZO approved) at the front and rear, reflectors in both wheels, a reflector in the rear light, and reflectors on the pedals. With the bicycle bell, your child can also make themselves heard while on the go. The lighting is supplied without batteries.
The sturdy Hi-Ten steel frame is combined with aluminium rims with adjustable spokes and 24 x 1.95 inch tyres. The pistol-type chain guard shields the chain and helps protect clothing while cycling. Mudguards at the front and rear also help keep splashing water and dirt at bay.
For daily use, the Explorer is fully equipped. The luggage carrier is handy for carrying a bag or other items, while the lock ensures that the bike can be secured. The saddle is height adjustable, and with the adjustable centre stand, the bike can be easily and stably parked.
